PIA management bans CBA activities

Supreme Court did not order for staff dismissal: Mushahid Ullah The management of Pakistan International Airlines’ (PIA) has imposed a ban on union activities through Essential Services Act 1952, which is violation of Basic Human Rights and Industrial Relations Act 2012. Senator Sherry Rehman a member of Senate Standing Committee on Aviation referring towards this ban said the present management of PIA which mostly consists of serving officers of Air Force who are brought on deputation into the PIA, is taking unlawful actions against the Collective Bargaining Agent (CBA) that is the only elected body which represents the low grade employees. The actions of management are entirely in violation of the basic Human Rights and Industrial Relations Act 2012. All such investors are required to come through their embassies and contact the concerned ministry and Board of Investment in Pakistan. The Pakistanis who are blindly investing on purchase of US dollars even after its value gone up to Rs 152/- are warned to beware of the fake dollars that were spread across the country soon after invasion of allied forces in Afghanistan and Iraq.   Informed sources disclosed that soon after the 9/11 false flag operation when American government invaded Afghanistan in 2001 there was a great influx of American and European print, electronic media in Pakistan to cover this war. From Karachi to Peshawar these media members relentlessly distributed US dollars among local citizens including guides and translators to get information on various aspects of the war against Afghan Taliban. قومی   ایئر لائن انتظامیہ کے ’’سخت فیصلوں‘‘ پر سینیٹ کی قائمہ کمیٹی کو بھی اعتراض ہے، جبکہ برطرف ملازمین انصاف کے حصول کیلئے عدالت جا پہنچے ہیں۔ غیر پیشہ ورانہ انتظامیہ کی جانب سے پائلٹس اور جہاز کے عملے سمیت 121 کی برطرفی نے پی آئی اے کا مذاق بنا دیا۔ قومی ایئر لائن کے ترجمان کا کہنا ہے کہ مزید 337 ڈسپلنری کیسز ایسے بھی ہیں جن میں ملازمین کی جانب سے جعلی تعلیمی دستاویزات جمع کرائی گئی ہیں۔ حال ہی میں سینیٹ کی قائمہ کمیٹی برائے ایوی ایشن نے پی آئی اے انتظامیہ سے ملازمین کی برطرفی کے مسئلے پر بات کی۔ کمیٹی کے اکثر ارکان نے کہا کہ اسٹاف کی برطرفی سخت فیصلہ ہے۔ کمیٹی نے 2017 میں ڈیوٹی پر برقرار رکھے گئے 12 ملازمین کی طرف اشارہ کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ پی آئی اے اگر کچھ لوگوں کے ساتھ نرم رویہ رکھتی ہے تو اس کی منیجمنٹ باقیوں کے ساتھ بھی برابری کا سلوک کرے۔ کمیٹی کے چیئرمین سینیٹر مشاہد اللہ خان کا کہا تھا کہ پی آئی اے میں جعلی ڈگری والوں کیلئے معمولی سزائیں بھی ہیں۔ پی آئی اے منیجمنٹ نے موقف اختیار کیا کہ وہ جعلی ڈگری والوں کیخلاف سپریم کورٹ کے احکامات کی روشنی میں کارروائی کر رہی ہے، ل

Interest-bearing transactions: A punishable offence

“O Believers fear Allah and give up that interest which is still due to you, if you are true Believers; but if you do not do so, then you are warned of the declaration of war against you by Allah and His Messenger. If however, you repent even now (and forego interest), you are entitled to your principal; do no wrong, and no wrong will be done to you.” (2:278, 279) This verse was revealed after the conquest of Makkah. Although interest was considered objectionable earlier, it had not been legally prohibited. After the revelation of this verse interest-bearing transactions became a punishable offence within the realm of Islam. PIA CEO urged to stop issuing death penalty letters

A group of the sacked employees’ have once again appealed to CEO, PIA Air Marshal Arshad Malik to stop further issuance of illegal dismissals from service since his actions were becoming death penalty for affected people and their families. PIA employees sacking: non-professional attitude

Termination of 121 employees from Pakistan International Airlines including Pilots, cabin crews and low ranking staff by the non-professional management has become laughing stock. Another 377 disciplinary cases were pending against various classes of employees in the PIA for submitting fake or tampered with educational documents, according to the airline spokesperson. On 7 th May the Senate Standing Committee on Aviation called upon the PIA management. The committee met for the sixth time to discuss the issue of PIA employees. Most of the committee members held that terminating staff from service was a drastic action. The Committee referred to the 12 employees who were allowed to retain their jobs in 2017. “If PIA took a lenient view for some, its management should show similar compassion to all its employees and retain them, instead of laying them off.
